The APCM and the Vestry meeting for the appointment of the Churchwardens is open to all on the electoral roll and is being held on the 11th October 2020 at 11:15am after the Family Communion at the Priory. Election of PCC members will also take place. Our Archdeacon, Derek Chedzey, will chair the meetings this year and our Rural Dean, Jane Davies will also be present, and they will outline the process of recruitment for our new Team Rector. The agendas, minutes of last year’s meetings, parish reports and financial report will be available before the meeting on our website. Only a small number of printed copies will be available on the day.

THE PRIORY PCC NEEDS........YOU!

The PCC is the body of people in our church which makes decisions and plans for mission, finance, care and repair of the building, worship and many other areas of our Priory life together. We need ideas and views from all parts of our congregation. If YOU would like to make a difference, take part in the challenges and projects that will shape the future of the Priory and it’s people, please take time to consider being elected on to the PCC this October.  Nomination forms will b e available shortly at the back of the church. Please talk to our churchwardens, Helen or Graham for more information.

PRIORY ELECTORAL ROLL

Are you on the Priory Electoral Roll? Joining the electoral roll is an important way of confirming your commitment to the Priory Community and to the vision of the church. Joining the electoral roll means that you can vote on church matters, attend the APCM (Annual Parochial Church Meeting) and stand for election to the PCC. Being on the Electoral Roll does not entail signing up to any additional commitments. However, it does help our church show its strength. Forms are at the back of the church and should, when completed, be handed to the electoral roll officer, Geoff Bricknell, before the 25th September 2020.
